North East Mobile Health Services was founded in 1999 and is Maine's largest ambulance service with over 22,000 EMS calls annually. As a locally-owned, Maine-based company, we serve coastal communities from Rockport to Sanford with over 220 providers and 60 vehicles. We transport patients to hospitals, nursing/rehab facilities and to their homes all across Maine.

We're equipped to handle long distance trips and regularly travel to Eastern Canada and Mid-Atlantic states. We contract with towns to offer either full-service paramedic ambulance response or supplemental coverage for an existing EMS service. The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center (BBCH) has two ambulances that are operated by specially trained NEMHS personnel.

Municipal 9-1-1 Response
Report
We partner with Maine towns to either offer full-service response or service to supplement an existing fire department or EMS service. When minutes count, you need a service with experienced paramedics and EMTs, the latest lifesaving equipment, and the resources to handle complex emergencies.

If you're a local community leader and would like to discuss how we can partner with you to improve EMS services in your community, please call Robert Russell at (207) 510-0073.
