Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care is owned and operated by David Fisher Jr. In 2009, after a long career managing funeral homes and cemeteries for a large international funeral corporation, I decided that I wanted to start a simpler, less expensive alternative to arranging funeral and cremation services.

Daughter of Santiago Alvarez and Felicitas Corral de Alvarez. Her parents proceeded her in death. Hermila was a 50 year resident of the Pilsen community who owned and worked at Los Cuatro Hermanos Grocery Store. She was a devout Catholic who helped many families in the neighborhood, guided through her Faith and love of Christ.
