
Located in the Highlands in Louisville, Lakeside Swim Club is a breathtaking community facility. Members have access to our pools year round as well as our fitness facility and classes. Lakeside Club member and Sports Illustrated sports writer, Pat Forde, wrote a wonderful story about the facility. Check out the print magazine on newstands now for photos and more! Lakeside has sent correspondence via email regarding updates to policy and procedure changes with the facility and club rules.

About Lakeside
Report
The Lakeside facility offers incredible amenities to both Certificate and Associate members and their families. During the Summer season, both lap swimming and recreational swimming are available to members and their guests. Swim lessons, Quarry Gators, Aqua Aerobics, and recreational swim are all offered in the pool.
Lakeside Masters Swim Team
Report
The Lakeside Masters swim team was founded in 1976. It provides aquatic fitness through training and competition for adult swimmers ages 18 and above. A U.S. Masters Swimming Gold Club and Swim Kentucky Masters workout group, the team has won five national championship titles, boasts several swimmers ranked in the national top ten, and has many state individual and relay record holders.
Seahawk Swim Team

The Lakeside Swim Team was founded in 1928. Over the years the team has produced several Olympians, Olympic Trial and National qualifiers, as well as hundreds of state champions! The team incorporated as the Lakeside SeaHawk Swim Team in 1980 allowing membership to all Louisville area youth.
The team trains at Lakeside Swim Club during the long course summer season and trains at the Mary T. Boot Camp

Boot Camp is a physical training program designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals. Training typically begins with a dynamic warmup, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights/objects, pushups/situps, plyometrics, and various types of intense explosive routines.
Nia
Report
Nia is a fun, low or no impact aerobic workout combining simple dance moves, martial arts, and healing arts. Nia will pump your heart, spark your spirit, and release your tension. Each class will have a focus such as base/core/upper extremities, but will work the whole body. Wear comfortable clothing and bare feet!
