Services
Koala Insulation is an insulation contractor providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors and property owners. We provide all types of insulation including blown-In cellulose and fiberglass, dense packing, spray foam and batt insulation.
Batt Insulation
Report
Perhaps one of the most recognizable forms in insulation is batt insulation, which comes in large rolls or pre-cut sections and is typically pink or yellow in color. These batts, or blankets, are installed in sheet form and laid out between the studs in walls, floors, and attics.

Though they are usually fiberglass, batts can also be made from mineral wool or organic cotton, and depending on the moisture content of the area your insulating, may or may not be faced with kraft paper, vinyl, or aluminum foil. Our trained technicians do far more than simply unroll the batts. We guarantee that they will install your insulation without gaps or compressions -- both of which can reduce the real-world performance of the material.
Blown-in Insulation
Report
When it comes to blown-in insulation, you have two choices: loose fill or dense pack. While they are made the same -- both consist of small pieces of insulation -- they have different properties that you will want to consider. Loose-fill insulation can be made from cellulose, fiberglass, mineral wool, and even denim -- though the most common materials today are cellulose and fiberglass.
Spray Foam Insulation
Report
Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation is particularly useful when it comes to helping eliminate the gaps that let energy escape -- and that increase your heating and cooling bills each month. Mixed on-site, spray foam is sent through a hose into the stud cavity, where it hardens and creates a long-term, barrier that helps keep heat out in the summer -- and in, in the winter.
Attic Insulation
Report
As heat rises, attics can reach 140 degrees or more. Sun rays beam down to the roof and, without a properly insulated roof, the temperature will rise in the attic. Without a properly insulated attic, the heat will transfer through the ceilings into other floors of the house.

The heat, or energy, transfer that occurs added to the hot air being pushed into the house will have the following outcome: uncomfortable temperature, uneven temperature in rooms, higher workload for your HVAC system, and your energy consumption will be much higher, resulting in an expensive energy bill. The lower level of your house can be drafty and cold if insulation is not installed properly.
