Functional Health & Acupuncture Institute
In today's world with today's economy, it is more important than ever to focus your efforts and your resources on staying healthy. There are so many things that challenge our health in this modern world, from stress to environmental pollution to processed food and gluten sensitivity, it is no wonder that chronic disease and obesity are at epidemic levels.

And unfortunately, our pharmaceutical based medical paradigm has little to offer in the way of changing these trends. The only lasting hope for eliminating symptoms and improving health is by attempting to understand and correct the root cause of the problem. Your body can and wants to be healthy but you need the right tools and guidance.

Functional Medicine
Report
Functional Medicine is a personalized, systems-oriented model that empowers patients and practitioners to achieve the highest expression of health by working in collaboration to address the underlying causes of disease. Functional Medicine, like Traditional Chinese Medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.
Thyroid Health
Report
An estimated 27 million Americans suffer from thyroid related illnesses, the majority of them women. However, thyroid related disorders are often not well diagnosed. Because thyroid hormone metabolism is complex, the thyroid itself may seem fine while patients suffer from symptoms of thyroid hormone imbalance.
Food Resources
Report
Vital Choice salmon are wild caught from the cold waters of the clean North Pacific outside of Alaska and Canada. This means that they are not fed a diet of corn, grain, or soy pellets. This also means a rich delicious flavor! Responsibly Harvested from Pure Alaskan Waters. After hatching, the Alaskan salmon swim upstream to very clear and pure fresh water lakes.
Faq
Report
Does acupuncture hurt? No, acupuncture should not hurt. Many people do not even notice that needles are being used. A momentary sensation may be felt around the needle as it is inserted, eventually creating a dull pressure or tingling around the area during the treatment. Most people are amazed by how relaxed they feel during and after the treatment.
