With over 16 years of practice, Michael has become a specialist in a variety of physical injuries. These include-but aren't restricted to-lower back disorders, postural/ergonomic dysfunction, ankle and shoulder injuries, along with post-surgical pain. Our resident women's health and pelvic floor physical therapist is a dedicated professional.

Pelvic Floor physical therapy is a specialized form of treatment aimed to address dysfunctions of the pelvic floor. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that run from the pubic bone to the tailbone, which help to support the internal organs and assist in sexual, bladder, and bowel functions.

Reasons for treatment include urinary incontinence, painful bladder syndrome, painful sex, postpartum care, diastisis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, coccyx/tailbone pain, vaginal or anal pain, pelvic floor muscle spasms, low back pain, or hip/groin pain.At Specialized Physical Therapy, our main concern is your comfort and confidence in the work we do.

We ask our patients to come 15 minutes early for their first visit to allow ample time to fill out all the necessary paperwork and insurance information. Please bring your insurance card and some form of ID, such as a Driver's License. Your Initial Examination with the physical therapist will last about an hour, plus additional time for exercises.
