Schedule a Tour
Report
The St. John staff and administration welcome you to visit our campus or arrange a shadow date for your child (Grades 1-7). During a tour, a St. John staff member will walk you and your child through the buildings and visit classrooms while pointing out the features of our programs. There will be a time at the end of the tour for extended conversation and Q & A.

Since 1907, St. John the Evangelist School has provided a quality Catholic education to elementary and middle school students in Watertown and the surrounding towns in Connecticut. St. John the Evangelist School is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. St. John School is a parish elementary school and part of the network of Catholic Elementary Schools of the Archdiocese of Hartford.

St. John accepts students of all faiths who are willing to live by our school philosophy. All students at St. John School attend a daily religion class and attend a monthly mass held at the school. Today, 30% of our student body is non-Catholic and their faith traditions enrich our community. Students who live in Watertown and Oakville may ride the bus to school according to the policies and plans of the Watertown Public School District.
