Speech Therapy Consulting, Inc. is a Speech and Language clinic based in Dixon, Solano County, California. We are a Kaiser Permanente partner for clinic-based services and also accept private pay. In addition, We provide contracted Speech and Language services to local school districts. Our speech and language staff, led by Stacey Cames M.A. CCC-SLP, is dedicated to providing children and their families with the highest quality of speech therapy services in the area.

Stacey is a California Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SP14463). She holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Chico as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Receptive Language - the understanding of words and sentences and the meaning of language. Expressive Language - being able to put thoughts into words and sentences in a way that makes sense and is grammatically accurate.
Pragmatic Language - the social language we use in our interactions with others including what we say, how we say it, our non-verbal communication (eye contact, facial expressions, body language, etc.) and how appropriate our interactions are in a given situation.Direct therapy consists of individualized instruction for each child in a one to one or small group setting.

Our son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4. The first services we received was speech therapy as he was unable to express himself. We were lucky enough to have been paired with Stacey. Our son is always a bit shy around new people, however he seemed to hit it off instantly with Stacey. Our son has been in speech therapy for almost a year now and has improved so much, He is always excited to go see Mrs. Stacey.

April provides comprehensive psychological educational evaluations, independent education evaluations, and can provide consultation services to support families with their child's learning needs. April is passionate about serving the unique needs of children, teens, and young adults.
