Rob's School of Music is a boutique music school in Suffern NY. We are conveniently located at 104 Lafayette Ave. We offer music lessons online and in person for guitar, voice, piano, drums, ukulele and audio production to all ages and skill levels. Our incredible team of teachers are accomplished, professional musicians who will develop a completely custom tailored program to help you reach your musical goals.
We have been with Rob's School of Music since the doors opened. My son began taking guitar lessons, he wanted to be a rock star like his teacher. After about a year Rob, my son and I realized that his inner rock star was more of an acoustic song writer! We began piano lessons and have not stopped since that day.

These classes are available in all of the instruments we offer: Guitar, Drums, Bass, Piano, Violin and Voice. Our music teachers are all set up with professional virtual lesson studios. Instructors use multiple camera angles so that the students get the same experience as an in person lesson. Lessons are taught weekly via one-on-one 30 minute sessions (along with various supplemental videos and handouts/PDFs).

When taking ukulele lessons in Suffern, NY at Rob's School of Music, we can guarantee any student will be playing songs within the first 60 minutes on the instrument! As with other music lessons at our school, students are encouraged to select songs they want to learn so that the teacher can build them a customized curriculum.

Bass is 50% of the rhythm section and the glue of the band. Whether they be a "slapper" like Flea or Victor Wooten, a melody player like McCartney or prog monster like Geddy Lee, bassists turn individual parts into songs.

When people think of a song or a band, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the singer. That's what they're singing along to, but what is it that they are tapping their foot along to? That's the DRUMMER! The drummer has the most important job in the band. They keep the whole band together and provide the groove that everyone is dancing to all night long.
