FarWest began as a small landscape company out of an old auto garage at our present location on State Street in 1976. We expanded our garden center to seven acres a few years later to focus on providing a unique garden plant selection for beautiful landscapes. FarWest is locally owned and we have a fantastic staff of knowledgeable gardeners that truly love plants and people.

FarWest's seven acre plant paradise is full of everything your home garden and landscape need to thrive. We hand select and grow many of our plants so that you will have a fantastic variety that will make your landscape shine. FarWest is open Mon.-Sat. 9-5, Sun. Fall's cooler weather is perfect for planting.

In FarWest's Boise nursery you will find lush, healthy, well-established garden plants that we select from the most talented and trusted growers. Annual flowers, blueberries, grapes, raspberries, perennials, shrubs, evergreens/conifers, deciduous trees and houseplants are in stock now. Come see us Mon-Sat.

We hand pick new and unusual items that make great gifts. Visit our houseplant jungle: over 200 houseplants, airplants succulents, pottery, macrame hangers, greeting cards, garden decor and gazing balls. We have everything you need for gardening: pruners, hedge shears, kneelers, hats, frost cloth, seeds, trays, gloves, tools, pruning sealer, insect control, fertilizers and more.
Container Gardens

We create beautiful porch and patio pots for shade or sun right here at the garden center. Buy our pot, or bring your own pot. Fall pots- We can plant your containers, just bring them in. Spring- Let us know if you require shade tolerant plants (morning sun, afternoon shade) or full sun plants (6+ hours of sun).
Delivery and Planting

FarWest would like to make your gardening experience both as enjoyable and as simple as possible. Our delivery manager sets up your delivery date and delivery/planting is sometime between 10am and 5pm on your scheduled day, we can't give a specific delivery time, as each delivery is unique and can take longer than expected.
