TSI, Transit Systems Inc., is a broker who hired a mover to ship two pieces of furniture [vintage, heirloom, been in the family since the mid-1800s]. Once hired I had to initiate all follow ups. The shipper stripped down the two pieces into eight separate groups. The two groups included crown molding from the top of a secretary [hutch/desk/cabinet combination] and six drawers [4 from the secretary and two from a double dropleaf table]. My first indication that the aforementioned two groups were lost was when only six groups were delivered. I was told the other two groups would be delivered the

TSI performed the task of moving a very heavy desk from a high-rise condo in Baltimore to a townhouse in New Jersey. The company executed the move on schedule, and exceeded my expectations. I cringed as I watched the movers carry the desk up to the third floor of the townhouse. The guys worked extremely hard in lifting the furniture. I was so grateful to them that I tipped them generously, and was totally pleased with the service

I had two family heirlooms I needed shipped from Massachusetts to Wisconsin. A cedar chest and six foot framed embroidery. I called four shipping companies. TSI was the only one to call me back, and did so within 24-48 hours at each step of the way, and they were overloaded with work at the time. They packed the items very well and they arrived in good condition. The only ding, (4 stars instead of 5), is that they said they'd call before pickup and drop off (coordinator gave a couple day window for each) and they didn't. They just showed up. Not a big issue this year cause we WFH at both ends right

The price is reasonable for the quality you receive. Nothing super fancy and communication and scheduling are not great, but my stuff arrived intact and with in the time frame planned. Overall cant complain and would recommend for the price.

Dont expect prompt delivery. My mother paid over $1200 to get my stuff across the country, (a trip my sister and I and two kids did in under a week) and was quoted a two-week delivery. That was in July. Now, finally, almost three months later my apartments worth of stuff was finally delivered. And where was it all this time? One state away from where I now live, sitting in a facility, with the employees claiming they lost the truck, or it was hurricane issues, or they were delayed. The employees I talked to were rude to me, and sometimes refused to even answer their phone when I asked
