I have worked as a therapist and social worker for over twenty years. My specialization is working with adults who are experiencing life transitions. This includes problems in a relationship, divorce, serious illness, addiction or loss. My joy is helping my clients identify solutions to problems in a supportive and safe environment.
I offer a sliding scale and am on most major insurance panels, including Medicare. Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

My definition of self-care is taking care of your needs above all others - not taking care of everyone else first. Selfishness is defined as caring only about yourself and no one else. In my years of working with clients and other therapists, I have learned that many of us have been raised to worry about what others think.
