We provide primary care health services for infants, children, and adolescents. For outpatient services, Pediatric Clinic has offices in Opelika and Auburn. Our board certified physicians provide inpatient care at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. If you have an urgent (but NOT emergent) medical problem after hours, dial our after hours answering service at (334) 745-4660.

If your child ingests poison or chemicals, you should call Poison Control at (800) 292-6678 or 911 first. Originally from Arab, Alabama, Dr. Smalley, received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and graduated from medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Smalley completed his pediatric internship and residency at Duke University in North Carolina. Dr. Smalley serves as our Lab Director, but he has retired from direct patient care.

Our Auburn Office is located at 760 East Glenn Avenue in Auburn, Alabama. We are in the middle of the Glendean Shopping Center. The shopping center is located at the southwest corner of the Glenn Avenue and Dean Road intersection. The shopping center is the former home of the well-known Glendean Drugs.

Studies have shown that medication is effective in treating the symptoms of ADHD alone or in combination with behavioral interventions. Your child's or teen's doctor will determine whether your child or teen has ADHD by using standard guidelines developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics specifically for children, teens, and young adults 4 to 18 years of age.
