The Ventura Chapter of the Southern California Soccer Referees Association serves members and leagues in the Ventura and Santa Barbara areas. Our members referee USSF affiliated games for the Coast Soccer League and Youth Tournaments sanctioned by California Youth Soccer Association-South. We are always in need of new and seasoned referees.
General membership meetings are held the third Thursday of every month. Any address changes made in Arbiter, must also be made via email to Jeff Plunkett (Treasurer) so that he can make the change in Quick Books software. An address change in Arbiter does not link up with Quick Books where checks are printed.

SCSRA-Ventura Membership
Report
Membership in SCSRA-Ventura. In order to receive game assignments, members must remain in good standing as defined in our association constitution and bylaws. Members must appear on the CalSouth Registered Officials List before they can be assigned USSF sanctioned games by the SCSRA-Ventura Assignor.
Tournaments
Report
It normally takes the Treasurer two-to-three weeks following a tournament to write all the checks, get them signed, and then mailed. Checks are mailed to the home address you have in your Arbiter account. Members are responsible to make sure their Arbiter contact information is accurate and current.
Member Training & Development

Entry level, upgrade, and recertification clinics are scheduled throughout the year all over Southern California. Class schedules and registration instructions are available through the Cal South Referee Clinic Registration System.
Cal South has established minimum training requirements per year to ensure that recertifying referees our referees are current with the latest trends in game management as well as the latest changes to and interpretations of the Laws of the Game.Training session materials will include US Soccer directives, memorandums, position papers, and recent amendments to the Laws of the Game.
