At Solace Women's Center, compassionate and conscientious physician Farly Sejour, MD, FACOG, offers individualized obstetric and gynecological care for women in all stages of life from Conroe and the Woodlands, Texas, and the surrounding areas. Dr. Sejour graduated from Rutgers University's Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey in 2000 and completed his residency at the Einstein Medical Center in Pennsylvania in 2005.
He's board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has held the position of chairman of the OB/GYN department at Conroe Regional Medical Center from 2016 to 2018, and currently serves as the vice-chair of the OB/GYN department at Memorial Hermann Medical Center - The Woodlands since 2019.

Hysteroscopy

A hysteroscopy is one of our gynecology services that allows our doctors to look at the lining of your uterus. A tool called a hysteroscope is inserted in to the vagina and moves gently through the cervix in to the uterus. The hysteroscope has a light and a camera attached to transmit video of the lining of the uterus, the endometrium.

Mirena® IUDs

Mirena is a hormonal intrauterine device (IUD) that is inserted into the uterus for long-term birth control. It works by thickening the cervical mucus to prevent sperm from fertilizing the egg and at the same time thins the lining of the uterus while partially suppressing ovulation. Approved by the FDA, it is a T-shaped plastic frame that releases a type of progestin.
