We help 3- 6 year olds learn basics for learning piano and be ready to join the accelerated piano class. Machiko is fantastic. She is gentle, patient, and kind. My daughter looks forward to her piano class every week, and goes to the piano on her own at home. Machiko's piano lab is innovative, and I think just perfect for young beginners such as my daughter (age 6).

My music adventure started when I was three years old when my mother took me to the local music class. There, I danced and sang with friends freely. I had one strict teacher when I was seven, who would poke my fingers with her pencil when I made mistakes. I was horrified and immediately asked my mother if I could have a different teacher.

Machiko has been a patient and inspiring teacher for my daughter. She has her very own style and approach which fully engages and motivates my daughter. With a willful and quiet child who doesn't like to practice much, it is important for her to feel understood and Machiko does. With Machiko my daughter is both learning and loving piano.
