What payment methods are accepted?
We require full payment in cash at the time of pick-up. Spay/neuter assistance vouchers from approved organizations are also accepted.
What pre-surgery preparations are needed?
Withhold food after midnight but allow water access. Nursing animals must stop lactating 2 weeks prior to surgery.
Do you offer overnight stays?
No, all patients are discharged the same day after recovery from anesthesia. No overnight boarding is available.

My vet quoted me $500 for the same procedure this place did for less than $200. I was a little hesitant as I love my dog and want the best for her, and I was concerned about that old saying You get what you pay for. The lady that runs this place is wonderful. She returns calls within a reasonable time and has a professional mannerism. She is professional when you drop your dog off. She did a beautiful job with the spay. Pay attention to what the spay sites look like from some of the vets. My dog had a very small, well done incision. I did not have any problem with it whatsoever, it never

We had two boxers. We brought the first one in to be spayed and she got a little aggressive so she could not be spayed. We brought the second one in later that month and everything went fine. They had us bring the other one back and we stayed with her until she went to sleep. Worked out great.I would recommend Red Fern to anyone
