North Star Equestrian Center

North Star was opened in 2002 by Shannon and Adrian Pasquale. We have both been involved with horses from a young age and have a passion for the care and well being of all the horses that board with us. We want to make your every Horse related activity fun, enjoyable, friendly and SAFE.

North Star is a smaller facility with a family oriented barn approach- We offer a large variety of boarding and lessons plans to suit the very beginner to the more advanced horsemen.Our training philosophy is based on natural horsemanship where we teach every aspect of the horse world. Our feeding and turnouts are based on the horse and owner preference and are tailored to meet every need.

We aim to please when it comes to turn out and like happy horses (owners too!) but weather and pasture conditions may limit amount of turnout at times. We get the horses out as much as possible and roatate the pastures when needed. We believe a well trained, respectful horse is a critical component of enjoying our equine friends.

Videos help us to display what we do everyday. We use them as teaching tools and love to share what we do with our horses and those that are in training with us. Here at North Star Equestrian Center under the management of Adrian Pasquale & Shannon Pasquale we utilize the philosophy of Natural Horsemanship. Of course saddling a horse and riding seems counter intuitive to the term natural however the true meaning of "Natural" is referring to the way we communicate with the horse.

Hunter is a 16'+ hand APHA that has had over 9 months of training on him. We have had him over a year and wanted to let him finish growing so we worked slow and steady. The end result is a great all around horse with a super start to him. He is proficent in WTC and has a wonderful stop. He has more whoa then go to the point that he almost slids to his stops.
