Patients receive personalized treatment plans developed by licensed psychiatrists and clinical therapists in a secure, therapeutic environment.
Developmental Disabilities Program
The Intermediate Care Facility for Intellectual Disabilities offers long-term residential treatment for youth aged 6-21 with developmental challenges. Our program addresses autism spectrum disorder, Asperger's syndrome, and intellectual disabilities through adaptive skills training, behavioral therapy, and life skills development. Treatment focuses on improving communication, socialization, and independent living abilities within a structured community-based setting.
Educational Programming
Our Arkansas Department of Education-approved school system provides mandatory academic instruction for all residents. Certified teachers deliver individualized education plans that align with state standards while accommodating each child's therapeutic needs. The program integrates academic goals with clinical treatment to maintain educational progress during residential care.
Recreational Therapy
Structured recreational activities promote physical health and emotional well-being through supervised sports, arts, and outdoor programs. These therapeutic sessions help develop social skills, improve impulse control, and provide healthy coping mechanisms. Activities are integrated into treatment plans to support overall recovery and personal growth.

So far my 11 year old has been here since 8/21/20. I can't really relate to the other reviews. The staff has always been VERY respectful to me. Much nicer then these people in Chicago. They are very well mannered. They always have returned my calls in a very timely manner. My daughter seems to be happy overall. She has been aggressive a few times, and I never feel like they have unrealistic discipline. I also do like that they offer zoom for family therapy. It is much nicer to see people in person. This is coming from a very INVOLVED parent, who has had to move mountains to get her help.

Im going to be honest with you this facility is more of a place for children whos parents want to get them out of their face and forget about them .or dhs kids who have no one .if u dont care what happpens to your kid and dont really care about keeping in touch with them after care this is the perfect place ..many of the MHPPs have NO experience with traumatized children ..
