I've been a personal trainer since 2011. I attended Parkland College's personal trainer program from 2009-2011 and it was quite the eye opening experience for me. I had been interested in fitness before, but the program exposed me to a lot of different methods and tools that I hadn't used before. After graduating the program I decided to pursue being a personal trainer as a career and have been seeing clients ever since!
I became interested in becoming a massage therapist after being a personal trainer for several years. I saw how much foam rollers and other massage tools helped my clients, so I figured it would be a good idea to learn more about massage. I enrolled in Parkland College's massage therapy program in 2014 and graduated in the summer of 2015.

Exercise Technique - I'm a huge stickler for correct form while exercising.
Massage Therapy
Report
Massage has been shown to have several benefits. These benefits include stress relief, managing chronic pain, reducing anxiety, improving sleep, reducing muscle tension, and improving blood flow. Some people may see more benefits from massage than others. Everyone is different so what work for helping one person might not necessarily help another.
