Design-Build is having Professional Interior Designers on staff to show you what your home remodeling project will look like (even in 3-D), guide you in selections and hand hold you throughout the project.

So you found us, called us, and we have an appointment to look at your home remodeling project, GREAT, but now what? One of the first steps is to develop an idea of what you want to do with your home remodel. Write a list of your needs and wants. There are many sources to find design ideas for your home remodeling project such as magazines, books, and TV shows.

J&R Construction recently completed a whole house remodel for me including kitchen, two bathrooms, lighting updates, flooring, and paint throughout.

At J&R Construction we have Professional interior designers on staff to help every step of the way. We also partner with several Certified Interior Designers and Firms in Lexington and Owensboro, along with many Architects.

Our designers or architects will draw your project using our design software system that can show you the final project in 3-D and even change colors of fixtures and finishes in real time, so you can visualize your project in its entirety before we even start.

A: After Jimmy McKinney served in the United States Army Reserves he started McKinney Deck Builders as a part time endeavor and then launched full time and incorporated in 2003 creating what is today J & R Construction Services, Inc. His great grandfather and grandfather were custom furniture makers and owned several sawmills in Eastern Kentucky.
