Keith was hired in August of 2020 as our resident horticulture expert and manager. He was drawn to DGC because of his desire to make the store as much of a horticulture classroom for Durhamites as possible.
Keith graduated from NC State in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture, and Auburn University in 2019 with a Master of Science degree in Horticulture, a Graduate Certificate in Public Horticulture, and a minor in Community Planning.He is most passionate when talking about temperate landscape plants, particularly his favorites, conifers.

Please be patient and know that as soon as we receive see the order we will verify that the items are available, pull them from the sales floor, and email you to arrange payment via telephone at your convenience. After we compile your order and confirm it is all in stock, we will remove the items from the sales floor and send you an email to confirm a time to call you to process payment.

El Jefecito has a brick and mortar restaurant just up the street from the garden center. We eat from there regularly and can attest that it is delicious! Even if you can't make it out for the food truck, consider pairing trips to see us with lunch or dinner at El Jefecito in the future! We have enjoyed getting to interact with you all during workshops in the past.
