Four Winds Aviation, located at Aero Country airport (T31) in McKinney Texas, was founded to provide pilots with a specialized source for pilot and aerobatic flight training services. We are a flight school with the experience and knowledge to provide safe and reliable pilot training from Private Pilot to ATP Pilot, Aerobatic & Tail wheel training to aircraft and Tail wheel rental services to the general aviation community.

If you have noticed, all the fun aircraft to fly have tail wheels. A large majority of the current kit built aircraft, along with the new Sport Pilot aircraft that are in the market place, have tail wheels. One of the most popular kit built aircraft series is Vans RV aircraft. Most builders opt for the tail wheel, because those pilots are in the know when it comes to how fun and enlightening conventional gear aircraft can be.

Four Winds Aviation offers training designed to substantially increase the safety and pleasure of flying. All of our aerobatic courses start with confidence and safety training and extend through our intermediate and advanced aerobatic programs. Choose one of Our Super Decathlon's, which are fully aerobatic and stressed certified for +6 -5 g's, are available for solo rental after completion of our insurance checkout requirements.

Four Winds Aviation, Inc., is currently seeking a well qualified part-time Aerobatic Flight Instructor that has solid experience in the Pitts S2A, S2B, S2C or Super Decathlon. We find ourselves looking for a flight instructor that can help us grow our business. A CFI with Pitts Aerobatic training experience and/or IAC competition experience is preferred but we will work with the right individual.
