It all started back in 1969 when my father came to the United States from Italy. He was a mason, not just any kind of mason, but a master craftsman. I, of course, would later follow in his footsteps. As far back as I remember, I would spend my summers learning from my father as I was enamored by his talent.

While the other fathers were out playing sports with their children, mine was teaching me the only sport he knew; masonry. It has been a passion of mine ever since. Family owned and operated, Calzante Construction has offered professional and quality masonry services to our residential and commercial customers in the Chicago Metropolitan area for two generations.
