Each acupuncture treatment provides an immediate relaxation. All acupuncture needles are thin, hair-like sterilized and disposable. Usually the treatment is painless, however depending on each individual's pain tolerance and body's location one or few needles may give a short "prick" sensation. The pain may stop a minute later on its own.
