Services
Air Duct Cleaning
Professional air duct cleaning removes contaminants from HVAC systems, improving indoor air quality and system efficiency. Kleen Breeze uses specialized vacuums and sanitizers to eliminate dust, allergens, and mold from ducts, vents, and blower motors. Regular maintenance every 2-3 years reduces energy costs and prevents respiratory health risks.
Mold Remediation
Comprehensive mold remediation services address contamination levels 1-4 using containment protocols and HEPA filtration. Certified technicians identify moisture sources, remove affected materials, and apply antimicrobial treatments. Services include post-remediation lab testing through partner InspectorLab to ensure complete contamination elimination.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning prevents fire hazards and improves appliance efficiency by removing lint buildup. Technicians clean interior and exterior vent components, replacing damaged clamps to prevent air leakage. Annual cleaning recommended to maintain optimal airflow and reduce energy consumption.
Air Purification
UV air purification systems use ultraviolet light to neutralize airborne pathogens in HVAC units. Photocatalytic oxidation breaks down VOCs into harmless compounds, while Humidex systems control basement moisture. These solutions reduce allergens and improve overall indoor air quality for healthier living environments.
Mold Testing
Professional mold testing identifies contamination sources through air and surface sampling. Certified inspectors use moisture meters and thermal imaging to detect hidden growth. Lab analysis provides detailed reports on mold types and remediation recommendations, ensuring accurate diagnosis before treatment begins.

Questions
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
We recommend cleaning every 2-3 years, though Wilmington's climate may require more frequent maintenance. Post-construction cleaning and allergy sufferers may need annual service.
What are signs of mold contamination?
Common indicators include musty odors, visible growth, water damage history, or unexplained respiratory issues. Kleen Breeze offers inspections to identify hidden mold sources accurately.
Do you offer emergency services?
While we maintain regular business hours, urgent cases like recent water damage receive priority scheduling. Contact us immediately for mold concerns to prevent escalation.
What areas do you service?
We serve Leland, Wilmington, and surrounding Cape Fear region communities. Call for a consultation if located outside these primary service areas.
How long does duct cleaning take?
Typical residential jobs require 3-5 hours using truck-mounted equipment. Technicians protect interiors and restore spaces to cleaner condition than before service began.
Is mold remediation covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by policy. We document all work with before/after photos and provide detailed reports that may support insurance claims for contamination removal.

Kevin OConnor of Kleen Breeze absolutely improved the quality of air in our 3-story home. Our air is fresh, our allergy symptoms improved, and our air conditioning even cools more efficiently since Kevin inspected and cleaned our air vents. We are VERY appreciative of his knowledge about water damage and mold, and encourage everybody to contact Kleen Breeze to improve your quality of life!
