This narrated performance employs the same sets, costumes, special effects, and glorious dancing as the full-length presentations. Ideal for holiday field trips! Saint Louis Ballet dancers capture the spirit of Valentine's Day every February with contemporary ballets that include critically-acclaimed work as well as world premieres. This year, Old Loves | New Loves does just that. We celebrate an old love with the revival of a favorite - Tom Gold's Oasis. Gold, a long-time dancer with New York City Ballet, was called "a force for good in the ballet world" by The Wall Street Journal.

Jazzy and fresh - Brian Enos' Alice in Wonderland incorporates a variety of modern and classical dance styles, all set in front of projections by talented former Pixar/DreamWorks artist Luis Grane.

Switzerland in 1980, and receiving a scholarship to study at the School of American Ballet. In 1982, the great George Balanchine invited him to join the New York City Ballet, where he became a principal dancer in 1989. Peter Martins, ballet master-in-chief, created ballets Eight More and Les Gentilhommes for Horiuchi as well.
