Services
Report
Occupational Therapy is the practice of facilitating participation and independence in meaningful 'occupations' during all phases of life. In childhood and adolescence this can include things like self-care (dressing, feeding, fastening clothing, oral hygiene, simple meal prep, etc), academic skills (such as writing, typing, cutting, sequencing, visual perceptual skills), sensory regulation, and play skills.
Speech-Language Therapy
Report
Speech-Language Therapy is the practice of treating communication delays or disorders. Communication encompasses speech, language, cognitive communication, executive function, fluency, voice, and pragmatic (social) language skills. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) can also evaluate and treat swallowing difficulties (often called dysphagia).
Feeding/Swallowing Therapy
Report
Feeding and swallowing therapy specifically targets the skills needed to independently, safely and efficiently consume a meal. This may include facilitating the ability to feed oneself, safely drink liquids, bite/chew solids and initiate/complete a safe swallow.

We work with children of all ages who are picky eaters, have food aversions, have a limited food repertoire (number of foods they will consistently eat), and have trouble manipulating foods in their mouths. We also work with children who may have difficulty with choking/coughing or vomiting before, during and following meals.
Social Groups
Report
Social groups are an organic way to implement and practice key social skills in a structured setting with same aged peers. Our groups equip and encourage children to navigate the social world around them through play, movement and practice. Flourish therapists tailor groups to encourage clients to practice new social concepts and seek friendships.
