Creative Arts Studio in New London, NH
Founded in 2019, Creation Place has become a cherished creative hub in New London, NH. As the owner, Christine Donovan brings over 24 years of professional experience to this artistic venture, having transitioned from a successful career in investment management to pursue her passion for visual arts. Our studio initially offered walk-in pottery painting and scheduled classes, adapting creatively during the pandemic by introducing socially distanced options and to-go kits that proved immensely popular. After five years operating a physical studio, we're now transitioning to a home-based model while maintaining our commitment to fostering creativity through custom commissions and offsite events. Our unique approach combines technical expertise in stoneware clay slab construction with a welcoming atmosphere that encourages artistic exploration. We've built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and personalized service, whether through our in-studio experiences, community events, or handcrafted pieces available for purchase. While our physical location at 406 Main Street is closing, our dedication to spreading creativity remains stronger than ever as we explore new ways to engage with our community through art.
