What is your cancellation policy?
We require 7 days' notice for cancellations. Less than 7 days' notice or no-shows result in full trip charges to protect our limited booking capacity during short fishing seasons.
How do I book a charter?
Book through our website's 'Book Now' button or call us directly at (541) 260-9110. We recommend early reservations, especially during peak fishing seasons from May through October.
What's included in the charter?
Trips include expert captain services, fishing gear, tackle, and fish processing. We provide licenses if needed and offer vacuum sealing for an additional fee. Safety equipment and life jackets are provided.
What areas do you fish?
We operate from Charleston Harbor along Oregon's Pacific Coast, targeting Cape Blanco, South Umpqua River, and Bandon Dunes areas. Our routes adapt to seasonal fish migrations and regulations.
What happens to my catch?
We process your catch at our facility with cleaning, filleting, and vacuum sealing options. Storage is available for transporting your fish home. Our staff handles your catch with professional care and attention.

Had the greatest time. Plan on doing a yearly vacation with sharky's. Captain was very knowledgeable. I Learned alot and wasn't even trying. Best money we spent in years

Went out on a charter 5-17-21. Happened to be the lucky guy on the boat and got a 50# Halibut. But everyone on the boat got either a Ling Cod or a few Black rock fish. Plus, a couple of them got a limit of crab as pots were set in the AM. Captain John knows his stuff, and Mitch, the first mate is also great, hope he gets his Captain license and does well. You want a charter in this area, this is the one!

if you need your ego stroked, find another guide. Captain Jeff is all buisness, does all the work for you and he delivers. He'd never let the thought of a banana on his boat break his concentration. He knows where the fish are going to be and what it takes to get them, while safety navigating the ocean waters in pursuit of your next big story. Next time I call Sharky's Charters, I'll be booking with Captain Jeff again.

Capt John was an awesome guide. He made us feel as if we had known him for years. He was such a great guide my dad, brother, and nephew went out the very next day. He is very knowledgeable and very experienced. He knew exactly were to take us and my dad, my son in law, my daughter and myself all got our limits. It was the best experience and capt John made it so much fun.. we caught ling cod and rock fish and are going in August for halibut.
