We have lessons on drums, piano, violin, voice, ukulele, cello and guitar lessons in Indianapolis. Music lessons at Indianapolis Music Academy are a great after school enrichment activity that offer performance opportunities, a reward system. We are the only music school in Indianapolis that has an award program that gives out certificates, wristbands for levels achieved and trophies at certain milestones for passing tests.
We have a wonderful staff of friendly and patient teachers who are professionally trained, university trained or have 20 years or more of performance experience. My kiddo has always been delayed in his fine motor skills. He still struggles; however, we were told this morning by a therapist that the guitar lessons are definitely a help.

Violin Lessons Indianapolis IN

Our violin instructors teach a variety of styles. You'll learn proper technique, music reading and music theory. Our violin teachers are friendly, have a lot of patience, warm personalities and love to work with children and adults. Students can learn violin as young as the age of 7 and sometimes younger with the teacher's approval.
Guitar Lesssons

Our teachers know a variety of music styles which primary are: rock, metal, blues, and classical guitar. Whether you want to learn, Metallica, The Beatles, the latest country hits or gospel music, we've got you covered. New students to the guitar will learn the basics, the names of strings, note names, chords, how to strum and how to play a few easy melodies.
Piano Lessons

Whether you want to learn Mozart, Disney or The Beatles our PIano Instructors teach many styles. Our teachers are dedicated to helping you reach your musical goals. We want you to be a great musician by teaching you theory, sight reading and techniques, but we want you to have fun also. It's not necessary to own a piano to take lessons, an 88 key electronic keyboard will work just fine for beginning pianists.
Drum Lessons

Our drum instructors teach a variety of styles. Students will learn some basics of reading music for the drum set, how to count rhythms and learn some basic beats. Later, students will learn some of their favorite songs and will have opportunities to play with other musicians in a group setting. Beginning students don't need a drum set to start.

We are located in Indianapolis on south US 31, but are just a few miles north of Greenwood, Indiana. Here at Indianapolis Music Academy we offer a comfortable waiting lounge for parents and siblings. No waiting around in a guitar showrooms. We have free wi-fi, toys for toddlers and games. This is a fun and comfortable environment in a locally owned family business.
