Since 1946, Hagerstown Community College has been a valuable resource to the students and community it serves. Current Students

Students and employees can connect to the HCC-Campus wireless network. If you are connecting a mobile phone or non-HCC device, you may be asked to accept a certificate to do so. Visiting guests can access the HCC-Visitor wireless network. You will be required to provide additional information for limited access to the internet for on-campus events.

The Office of Human Resources is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and hiring of employees; new hire orientation; compensation and benefits administration; human resources policy development, communication and interpretation; support staff development; performance management, compliant resolution and grievance proceedings; employee relations; employee training and professional development; and legal compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

Prior to registering for classes, students must have completed an HCC credit application and submitted high school/college transcripts or completed placement tests. Learn more here. D2l Lms

The D2L learning management system or LMS is e-learning software utilized by Hagerstown Community College (HCC) for course management, in our online and hybrid classes. It is also used as a web-enhancement tool for some face-to-face courses. If you are new to using D2L or simply need a refresher, please visit the D2L Learner QuickGuide student tutorial.
Emergency Alerts

To help keep you better informed in the event of a campus emergency, HCC uses a notification system that enables you to receive urgent text messages through your cell phone and e-mail messages to your HCC Email account. Depending on your personal cell phone plan, there may be a nominal fee from your carrier to receive text messages, but there is no charge from the college to use the service.
