Wheeler Agency
Ed and Priscilla Wheeler opened the doors of The Wheeler Agency, in the summer of 1969, with the goal of providing personal service to families and businesses in the community. Back then, the office was located above the Rexall Drug store in downtown Lake City. Much has changed in 45 years, but we are still a small town business with a focus on personal service.

Our helpful staff is experienced in providing you the information you need to make wise insurance choices about car insurance, home insurance and business insurance. We also help our customers protect the fun in their life with boat insurance, motorcycle insurance and RV insurance. We don't work for the insurance company; we work for you.

Smartphone Discount
Report
Additional auto insurance discounts are available to drivers who "opt in" to smartphone programs offered by most car insurance companies. Progressive calls it SnapShot. Safeco calls it RightTrack and Allstate calls it DriveWise. While each program varies slightly, in general, an additional 5% to 30% discount is available to drivers who participate.
Teen Drivers
Report
Research shows that newly licensed teenage drivers who complete a quality driver education course or maintain good grades (3.0 or better) cause fewer vehicle accidents than other teens. In fact, teen drivers who complete the teenSMART driver education course are involved in 30% fewer collisions and sustain 50% fewer injuries than their peers.
