I began with the idea that I could improve education. Hopefully, I have had a small impact. While continuing to provide services to students in need, I want the logo to emphasize the idea of learning, without any suggestion that learning ends with graduation. We need to be "lifelong learners, " to use the parlance of our time.

Due to increasing numbers of unvaccinated inhabitants, the disease is back, and spreading throughout the Pacific Northwest. School districts require measles vaccination, among others.

The two most difficult terms for many parents to navigate are IEP and 504. The degree of protection and services can vary greatly, between the two "labels." Both Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans can offer formal help for K-12 students with learning and attention issues. They're similar in some ways but quite different in others.
