It's been a long hard year but we finally feel comfortable opening our dining room to the public. We will have limited seating for social distancing and will require patrons to wear masks until they are seated. Because of limited seating there may be a bit of a wait and we request that patrons wait outside to limit crowding at the front of the restaurant.

A bender is Big Apple Pizza's own original creation. Your choice of meat and cheese with onion, green pepper, lettuce and tomato, folded over to create a delicious pizza bread sandwich. All of our pizzas and calzones are cooked to perfection in an authentic stone deck pizza oven just like you would find in Little Italy in NYC.

Pizza was good. Service was so slow. We got there at 5:15. They kept saying they were busy and it would be a while- ok... but this it was 6:45. Hangry was setting in...people who came after were eating. We had to ask for our food to go and left at 7. Won't be going back.

Wonderful spot and the pizza is incredible. Really flavorful crust and our family enjoys coming here for the warm and inviting atmosphere, friendly and casual servers and always leave happy. We will be back!

Do NOT waste your time! My order was placed online around 5pm with a 2 hour wait. When I arrived to pick it up, I still had to wait another 30 minutes for my order; which is when they told me they were out of garlic knots, instead of calling me before my order was supposed to be ready to let me know. They offered me cheese garlic bread instead, but the cook put paper over the top of the bread so when lifted off so did all the cheese. On top of that, the pizza dough was still raw and inedible. This restaurant cannot handle their business.

Absolutely love the staff! I've grown up in this community and it's always been such a good amd fun place. The staff are easy to talk to and they are hilarious! The spaghetti here is my favorite and their ranch on their salads is incredible!

I’m from the east coast and can say that this pizza is the absolute best! We went on a Saturday around 5. It was a little busy and as expected most restaurants are short staffed. The team was super nice. We were seated right away but there was a little bit of a wait to get our food- nothing extreme, which we didn’t mind and expected. A little kindness goes a long way- these guys are taxed! Can’t wait to go back.

This place is a gem in the community. The dining room is quaint, comfortable, casual, and clean. This is a great place to meet a friend for lunch or dinner for really delicious food that for a great value. They stay quite busy, so it’s not the place for a quick bite. But this environment is more suitable for staying awhile and enjoying yourself (unless, of course, you called ahead with a to-go order—this seems to be a very popular choice for that). I would recommend Big Apple Pizzeria again and again.

My gosh, this place is awesome! First of all, I was taken back by the prices. Food this delicious should cost more in my opinion. I didn’t get any pizza but my 4 year old nephew did (from the kid’s menu) and it was delicious from the one bite I took from his pizza. I got the Chicken Parmesan hot sandwich and my goodness, it was the most flavorful sandwich I’ve ever had. They don’t hold back on their chicken and sauces. The service was top notch. Our waitress had really good recommendations and answered any questions we had. Took a little while to get our food, but I would be more concerned

Big Apple Pizzeria, has out pizza’d the hut, they’ve absolutely demolished any competition.
I have been looking for a good pizza place since I moved here and I’ve finally found it! I’ve had pizza made by real Italians and this brought me right back.
These garlic knots are the best I’ve ever had, plus there’s a nice atmosphere.
I’ll without a doubt be coming back and telling everyone I know to come here!
I’d give more than 5 stars if it were possible!

Wow 🤩 I wanted to give a shout out to Sam! He was super fantastic! I had an issue with my delivery from a third party vendor and had waited an exceptionally long amount of time even for pizza… which was never delivered to my address. I was very upset and hangry. However Sam went above and beyond and I appreciate him so much! You have an all star on your team and his service matches the quality of your pizza…. Stellar!

Great spot for NY style pizza (which is my fav) that's been around as long as I can remember. Slightly cheaper than Estes I believe, and a little less greasy in my opinion. I like that their menu is simple and makes it easy to customize your pizza exactly to your liking with a nice matrix with pizza size and number of toppings. I've usually just grabbed a pizza here for dinner but they have some decent lunch specials too before 3 pm. The calzones are pretty good as well.

Perfect, perfect, perfect New York pizza. thin crust but stands up to holding and folding, tastes is awesome. The sauce is the best in town, rich and bold. Hands down most authentic and best tasting pizza in town.

My husband and I were in the area and decided to give the pizza a try and we were pleasantly surprised with the service, cleanliness and great pizza!
Thank you for making a pizza that is not a pie, that has the thin crisp crust it was so good and fresh!
We will be coming back for sure and the garlic knots were too good to leave a single bite behind.

One should know they are not open for dine in at this time. I would recommend calling ahead to place your order as well. It was 25 minutes from placing my order until it was ready. The woman I dealt with was friendly. The pizza was good. It held up pretty well in the to go box for the half hour ride home. I was told they would be opening for dine in soon. I hope for this so I can try the pizza fresh out of the oven

More inconsistent product. They're so good when they're on it.... other times you get home to find a box of burnt crap.

Third installment here. We're gluttons for punishment. We've probably ordered here 100 times now. With about 30% overall satisfaction with the whole deal.
Last night, we were warned it would take 60min.. That's fine, but it took 90, leaving us sitting for half an hour in the smoke filled restaurant. Our pizza was partly assembled, and half way through we found a long hair embedded throughout several slices.

It saddens me to write this as this has become my go-to pizza place since moving to Holladay. Definitely the closest to NYC pizza in Utah (though that's not saying much) but they're SO INCONSISTENT.
I'm rolling the dice every time I call this place for my pizza fix. Are they going to forget my pepperoni or extra cheese and add them after it's cooked? Will it be soggy? Will the crust be burned? Will it take 20 minutes longer than they quoted me? All these things have happened THIS MONTH.
