As parents, we know families are feeling stressed out and stretched thin. That's why we developed protcols based on the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), and The American Academy of Pediatrics. We also instituted an option for expanded hours, 8:30am-3:30pm Monday - Friday.
Our new policies were designed to keep kids, families and teachers safe, while accommodating a full-day schedule. Tots' Cooperative offers multiple programs to provide a warm, loving, fun-filled atmosphere for pre-schoolers.

Since 1958, Tots' Cooperative Nursery School has provided parents, grandparents and caregivers the opportunity to play an integral role in each child's education, in and out of the classroom. With today's busy schedules, the chance to see your child in their peer environment and help share your skills and passions with the receptive minds of preschoolers is a precious opportunity.
Our Teachers

Chris Raposa, our head teacher, received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood from UMass-Amherst and her Master's degree in Recreational Therapy from Springfield College. She has been at Tots' since 1998, with her own children having attended the school. In the past 17 years, she has skillfully and lovingly guided the children at Tots' from that difficult transition from home to classroom.

We recognize that families' needs are changing, so Tots' hours Monday-Friday will now be 8:30am-3:30pm each day. Life has been uncertain and scary at times during this pandemic. We are confident that we will be able to safely offer our same close-knit, play based preschool experiences for our students.
