It all started in Grafton Ma. in 1962. Like so many pioneers in their respected fields, Dorothy Dalton is self taught, learning from experience and the love of animals. Unknowingly Dorothy began her career by grooming her own miniature poodle. Soon she was grooming her friends and neighbors pets. The response was so overwhelming the Daltons converted their garage into a full service grooming facility.
Mrs. Dalton now divides her time between Shrewsbury and Florida. When in Shrewsbury, she along with her highly trained dedicated staff, is a hands-on owner operating the longest established and finest grooming and boarding facility for cats and dogs in the metro west area.

Cat Boarding

The daily charge is $23.00 for a room in our lovely sun porch (cattery) with windows overlooking a beautiful flower garden. Our feline guests can watch the comings and goings of the daily activities through any of our many windows or curl up in a corner and nap to their hearts content. The choice is solely theirs.
Yard Time

This is available for all our guests (weather permitting) on an unlimited basis at no extra charge. We have over one acre of tree shaded grass covered play area divided so as to accommodate our guests according to size, temperament and age. If your pets want to just relax in the grass, they can do that too.
Grooming

Daltons Pet Grooming is the oldest continually operated dog grooming salon in the Metro West area. We cater to all breeds of dog from tiny Toys to the Giants. In fifty two years of continuing business we have done them all. Prices vary according to breed, coat condition and frequency of grooming. Please consult groomer for pricing or any special cut.
Daycare
Report
Daycare is available 7 days a week with exception of holidays. Any pet not picked up by closing will be boarded and will incur an additional boarding charge at check-out. Our daycare guests share in all the same amenities as our boarding guests. There will be plenty of time for fun and frolic in one of our grassy play yards or if they choose, a nap under one of our shady trees.
Check In & Check Out

Check-in can be at any time during normal business hours, however in order for your pet to become adjusted to his or her new surroundings checking-in several hours before closing, if at all possible, is always recommended. Check-out is at any time during normal business hours, but checking- out after 11:00 AM will incur an additional days charge.
