Rich Tatgenhorst founded Axtell Productions in 1995 after starting his career as a Cincinnati-based musician. With over 35 years in Atlanta's entertainment industry, he has grown the company into a premier event production agency while maintaining personal involvement in client service and talent curation.
Dianne McGarey
Senior Event Consultant
Dianne McGarey joined Axtell in 1978 and served as company owner from 1986-1995 before becoming Senior Event Consultant. With expertise in celebrity talent production, she has coordinated performances for artists like Kenny Loggins and Natalie Cole while maintaining client relationships across corporate and social event sectors for over 45 years.

We contracted with Axtell Entertainment for our daughter's wedding (Axtell Strings) and reception (DJ Daniel). Rich is wonderful to work with...professional, personable, and quick to respond to questions leading up to our event. Could not have been more pleased with the talent he represents....both were outstanding! Recommend Axtell Entertainment highly and without reservation!

Especially like their sweet potato fries and milk shakes. Burgers are excellent. A big step up from McDs, BK, Wendy's etc. Still not a full table service restaurant.

Rich is fabulous to work with, whether he is finding a band for my clients, or leading the Moxie band for a wedding reception. He recently came to a special event for a client that got sick and we created a night for them to relive their first dance and cake cutting. He jumped on board without a second thought. Axtell makes sure all of the details are taken care of and executed to the fullest degree. I love working with Axtell Entertainment and Rich! I look forward to working with them again!
