My journey with Reiki began while my son was sick. He was diagnosed with Cancer. During this time I was willing to try anything and everything to save my son, and also help him to endure the treatments to the best of his ability. He was only 18 months old when he was diagnosed. He had no way of communicating with me how he felt or what he needed.
I was intrigued and wanted to know more. I began to research it, and I felt this call and a pull in my heart that I needed to do this. Not just so that I could do it for my son, but also to help other people. I have always wanted to do something that would allow me to help others, but I had struggled with what that would actually be.

I did not. At the time I set up the appointment, I was skeptical on the whole practice as a hippy healing technique. First of all, when I set up the appointment with Summit Reiki I was so stressed that I couldn't be in the same room as my girlfriend sometimes because she would say the smallest thing and it would trigger every single anxiety and nervous synapses I had.

Upon arrival I will sit with you and discuss the things and areas you would like worked on. You will then get comfortable on a massage table. You will remain fully clothed the whole time. I will then begin the Reiki session. This may include either the hands on or hands off technique. This will be discussed and you can tell me which one your prefer, if you have a preference.
