The Cracked Pot is a specialty coffee shop in Mechanicsburg, PA that employs and develops youth that are approaching or have already aged out of foster care. We want to create a warm, welcoming environment where the love of Jesus is reflective to everyone, while providing exceptional coffee, food and service to our community.
We've partnered with Passenger Coffee based in Lancaster, PA who knows that coffee and relationships have a lot in common. Both take time to foster. Both take a lot of care and attention to the details. Both reveal the joys of discovery, learning, and sharing. The only way to ensure the healthy development of a truly specialty coffee market is to incentivize quality.

Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by loving, listening and mentoring the youth we have the pleasure to work with all while providing our community with excellent drinks, food and service. By working in a coffee shop, our staff have the opportunity to learn diverse skills.
These skills include great communication, customer service, learning how to properly clean and care for a shop, prepare delicious food, and of course serve specialty coffee.Once hired, they begin a 9-12 month program where they set personal and professional goals. They meet with management and mentors throughout their employment to ensure they are reaching their goals.
