We have received tons of new boards over the past two days. Boards from Gary Wilson, Solid Surf, Torq along with softboards and bodyboards from SofTech. We are finally stocked WAY back up, so come check it out. The Edisto buoy is reading 3.3 feet at 6 seconds in a high-angled short-period north-east wind swell, most of which is passing by our beaches.
We see high-pressure set up to start the work week with moderate north winds and much cooler weather on tap. High pressure will dominate our weather pattern, and we see beautiful weather all week. Unfortunately surf is looking small for the work week, too. Tropics are quiet for now. Located at 31 Center St. on beautiful Folly Beach, S.C. Ocean Surf shop is more than just a store that sells a lot of surf gear. It's owned and operated by surfers, for surfers. We hate to date ourselves, but combined we have well over a century of surfing experience among our owners and staff. Of course, this means we gladly offer friendly, unassuming advice regarding any and all aspects of board-riding.

Below are general estimates of what a repair might cost. Feel free to bring any board by the shop and one of our staff members can give you an idea of the parts, cost and time associated with a repair, which is usually a week to 10 days. If it's an emergency, and the waves are firing, bring your board to the shop, throw it on the board-horse, and we'll help you get a small ding sealed up the best we can on a time crunch.
Rentals

At Ocean Surf Shop, we won't rent you a board that we would not surf ourselves. Master shaper Gary Wilson has built us a fleet of strong Epoxy rental boards. Our collection includes his Happy Ending model long-boards and fun boards. He also made us some fat fish and stubby, round-nosed short-boards for the surfer looking to get more performance out of a shorter rental board.
