Spring guitar lessons is run by guitarist/pianst John Wirag who teaches in students homes and on ZOOM/Facetime. I serve the Binghamton, NY area and teach all ages from intermediate to advanced. I teach ages 7 up and all levels of players. Whether you just want to learn a few songs or take your playing to the next level.
I teach a combination of basic material(scales, chords, theory)combined with songs the student would like to learn. My specialty is heavy metal shred guitar with some classical pieces played in that style. For piano I teach the basics, classical pieces and pop. What are you waiting for? 1. Lessons consist of two factors:learning songs the student wants to learn and the theory behind those songs, such as scales, and chords. In this way the students better understand the theory behind the songs thery'e playing. 2. I provide a clear lesson plan with goals and structure. 3. Another emphasis I work on is timing which I achieve through using a meternome and through playing the songs along with the student.
