Inter-Lakes Day Care Center began as a nursery school program in 1971 in the Old Center Harbor School. In 1974 the program was relocated to its current location on Lang Street in Meredith and expanded to a before and after school program, which was named the "7-Upper Club". Inter-Lakes licensed space next door at the old Lang Street School for kindergarten and school age children.

Infants & Toddlers

Your baby's first year is the most critical period in his or her development. It is a time when bonds are made and learning is happening at a faster rate than it ever will again. Our infant program was established in 1996, and provides for the smallest group setting with a maximum staff ratio of 1 teacher to 4 children.
Preschool & Pre-K

A morning preschool school program is offered 2, 3, or 5 days per week from 8:30am to 11:30am. We start the day with breakfast so everyone is off to their best start, then progress through a routine of circle time, art and music, small group learning, dramatic play, and finally the morning ends with playtime outside on the playground.
School Age 7-Upper Club
Report
Before school care is available beginning at 6:30am. This is a great option for parents who need to get to work early in the morning, or for parents who would like to drop off their child earlier when older siblings go to high school. Mornings are typically low-key with board games, card games, art activities, reading, etc. Breakfast is included and served from 6:30am - 7:15am every day.
