What scuba certification levels do you offer?
We provide PADI courses from beginner (Bubblemaker) to professional (Divemaster). Specialties include Nitrox, Wreck, and Drysuit diving. Rescue and Advanced certifications available.
Do you sell used dive equipment?
Yes, we have a rotating inventory of used gear. Check our Garage Sale section for pre-owned items at discounted prices.
How do dive travel packages work?
We organize group trips to Lake Huron, Honduras, Bonaire, and Fiji. Packages include accommodations, meals, dive charters, and equipment support. Payment plans and deposits required.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards with a 3% surcharge. Cash and checks also accepted. No layaway or backorder options available for sale items.
How often should dive gear be serviced?
Regulators require annual servicing. Tanks need visual inspections yearly and hydrostatic testing every five years. BCDs should be checked annually for performance.
Are there community events for divers?

Got certified for my open water from here some years ago. Great experience. Love diving now. Got all my gear here like 15 years ago and it all is holding up just fine.

As a brand new diver with no previous experience or really any information about diving, I can say that I feel completely comfortable and secure while being in the water! So far Ive completed my open water certification, and looking into going further. My instructor was Scuba Steve, who was extremely thorough in the classroom, confined dives, and open water dives. Although there is a lot of information at first to learn- I actually feel like Ive learned it! That was a huge plus. Sea Side itself was very flexible with my schedule and offered a few different options. They were honest about

I started going here after moving to Saint Clair Shores. Very nice little shop and I really like the service I get here, and they also have great hours 6 days a week for those of us that work a lot. I like the way they always give my tanks a good fill . Stop in and see some of the cool stuff on display that came out of the St Clair river , a great place to dive right in our back yard that I was introduced to through this shop . Full service dive shop in the shores , support your local dive shop and stop in and see them.
