Report
This license will allow you to fly yourself and family, friends, etc, limited only by the aircraft itself! You will be legal to fly in clear weather day and night. You will be legal to fly cross-country to any location in the US! GCA is the only flight school in the State that offers Garmin G1000 equipped aircraft for instruction and rental.
Instrument Rating
Report
There is nothing more exhilarating than enjoying the incredible freedom that earning a private pilot certificate brings. Unfortunately, mother nature doesn't always agree with your plans to go to the business meeting or vacation spot when you want. An instrument rating lets you fly even when the sky is not clear, day or night.
Multi-Engine Rating
Report
Train in Gulf Coast Aviation's Beechcraft B55 Baron - and while you're in town enjoy exploring New Orleans, one of the most fun cities in the country! While there is no minimum number of hours required for a multi-engine add-on for Part 61, you can expect to spend approximately 5-10 hours training for your multi-engine rating if you are already instrument current and proficient.
Flight Instructor Certificate
Report
As a flight instructor, you will be able to teach new students the thrill and challenges of becoming a pilot! Becoming a certified flight instructor is also an important step to acquiring an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. While this is not a requirement to apply to the airlines, being a certified flight instructor is a popular choice for building hours and gaining valuable experience on your resume.
