Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame, Aldo Castillo inducted 2005. Since his arrival in Chicago in 1985, Aldo Castillo has been a tireless charitable fund-raiser, an ardent advocate of Latin American art, and a committed human rights activist. Artist, curator, and art dealer, he is known for his promotion of contemporary art and international artists.

Art is alive and well at Aldo Castillo Gallery as the gallery has been positively received since opening its doors at the new Naples location. The show, ART MOVES, MARLENE ROSE GLASS SCULPTURES, will feature the works of Marlene Rose who is an internationally known award-winning sculptor who produces stunningly beautiful works of art in her chosen medium, sand-cast glass.

At this year edition of ART MIAMI 2021, the Aldo Castillo Gallery will represent a diverse selection of international artists expressing themselves on a variety of contemporary techniques and art styles. Digital Art: Lluis Barba is a conceptual photographer that merges social criticism into contemporary art.

This year Aldo Castillo Gallery will feature Digital Photographer Lluis Barba (Spain), Sculptor Augusto Esquivel (Argentina), Painter Lorna Marsh (South Africa), Ceramist Patricia Rieger (USA), and Conceptual Artist Scott Ashley (USA). DIRECTOR ALDO CASTILLO will offer a strong curatorial statement that reflects his 35 years of experience as both an international art dealer and art fair organizer.
