Francis Misgen (F.B.) started our recycling facility, Misgen Auto Parts, in 1972 as part of a county clean-up project known as Lady Bird Johnson's Beautification Act. The telephone started ringing for parts shortly after the hulks started populating our old pasture. Jim Misgen, F.B.'s son, answered those calls and continues to answer them today.
