Tutor A Team
She made it through the first half of her freshman year with stellar colors: English with an A- and Geometry with a B. She went in for help when she needed it and earned these grades with hard work that she turned in on time. She barely passed her math SOL but then rocked her final, getting one of the highest grades.

Her overall GPA is a 3.5, and she told me she's not happy with it and wants to bring it up. I am so happy - she is in a much better place than she was last year, finally owning her achievements as well as her mistakes and fixing them. She's honestly starting to really understand the cause and effect of her behavior and realizing some choices are stopping her from doing what she really wants to do.

Our Story
Report
The right tutor can be a life saver for a student with an academic problem, or for those needing relief from school stress. Conversely, the wrong approach can be expensive and may not get the desired results - and there may only be a small window of time for parents to get it right!

Tutor A Team was established by Jim Waldman, President and resident of Chesapeake, after 40 years in educational administration and talking to hundreds of school teachers and parents of children/young adults from all grade levels. The common thread in these conversations is that the right tutor can be a life saver for a student with an academic problem, or for those needing relief from school stress.
