I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to you guys for these past 2 weeks. My daughters Adrianna and Carmella--had a blast, learned to become better, safer swimmers and made new friends. Carmella's swim instructors were so sweet, caring and understanding. My kids just love this place. We just wrapped up 3 weeks, and they were almost in tears about leaving and not being able to see their teachers again.
Silton vs Cancer
Report
For many summers, during the 90's and early 2000's, The Silton Swim Team has participated in the American Cancer Society's Swim Marathon. This event raised cancer awareness and money towards cancer research and local families. In 2006, Coach Danielle and her husband, Philip, lost their dear friend, Douglas Rillo, to brain cancer.
School History
Report
Silton Swim School is now 61 years young. The original founder of the school was a Springfield College classmate of mine. Upon his untimely passing in the seventies, I was able to purchase the school in 1977 and keep it as a premier facility for children of all ages to learn how to swim. My wife of 60 years, Nancy, and my granddaughter Danielle, now operate Silton Swim School.
