On Friday, the county decided to close the fields on Saturday due to the amount of rain that had fallen at the time, and the forecast for much more rain to come. Although the rains did eventually stop, the fields were flooded and littered with debris from the storm. They were not safe to play on. It looks like a great week of weather, so hopefully we will see everyone this Saturday.

Please be sure to check the schedule below, as your game on Saturday could have been affected by the field closure last Saturday. We have made the changes on each individual schedule as well. Seminole Youth Soccer is a coed recreational soccer organization for boys and girls ages 3 to 18 developed for the advancement of youth soccer in Seminole County, Florida. It is our belief that our children should have the opportunity to better themselves physically while learning the concept of teamwork.

Games will be played on Saturday mornings at either 9:00 am or 10:30 am. Games will be played in four 10 minute periods. There will be a three-minute break between periods one and two, and three and four. There will be a five-minute break between periods two and three. Number of Players: There will be a maximum of 12 players on each team, unless the coach asks for an additional player.
Games will be played on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., 12:00 a.m., 1:30 a.m, and 3:00 p.m. Games will be played in two 25-minute halves. There will be a five minute break between halves, when the teams change sides. All games need to start on time, because you must leave the field by the start of the next game that is assigned to the field.

If the weather dictates, there will also be a 1 minute water break around the 17 minute mark of each half.
